Carnival Cruise Line is ramping up its Cuba cruise offering.

The company has announced the addition of 23 new three-to-five-day sailings to Havana in 2019-2020 on five different ships departing from four homeports: Carnival Sunshine, which will sail from Charleston; Carnival Triumph, which will sail from Fort Lauderdale; Carnival Paradise, which will sail from Tampa and Carnival Victory and Sensation, both of which will sail out of Miami.

Carnival Sunshine, which has a capacity of 3,002 passengers, will be the largest cruise ship to ever call on Havana, and the first-ever cruise to Cuba out of Charleston.

“Cuba has proven to be extremely popular with our guests and we’re delighted to provide even more opportunities to experience and explore this fascinating destination with these new voyages departing from four key East Coast homeports, including the first Cuba cruises from Charleston,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line.
