The adults-only, all-inclusive Warwick Paradise Island Bahamas has appointed Bahamian Christopher Chea as the resort’s new Executive Chef.

Chea brings 40 years of culinary experience and education to his role, where he will be responsible for overseeing the operations, menu development and food preparation at the resort’s five restaurants.

“The addition of Christopher Chea to lead the Warwick Paradise Island Bahamas culinary team exemplifies our commitment to enhance our culinary offerings,” said Benjamin Davis, general manager of the resort.

“Chef Chea’s training and expertise in international cuisine and techniques will elevate the capabilities of the entire team resulting in a five-star dining experience for our guests,” Davis said.

Chea will oversee Edgewater Grill, an open-air restaurant serving steak and seafood dinner on the Warwick Sunset Terrace overlooking the harbor marina; Abbiocco, an á la carte Italian fine dining restaurant set in a casual atmosphere; Tings on a Stick, an á la carte Asian fusion restaurant; The Verandah, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week, with indoor or outdoor al fresco seating; and the poolside Chickcharnie’s Pizzeria & Grill, serving pizza, burgers, chicken and local favorites for lunch and late-night snacks.
