Delta Resumes “Full Schedule” of Dominican Republic Flights

Delta has resumed its full schedule of flights to the Dominican Republic, the carrier announced in a statement Sunday.

That included flights to Punta Cana, Santo Domingo and Santiago.

The Dominican Republic’s tourism hub of Punta Cana was largely untouched by Hurricane Maria, although the storm did cause flooding in parts of the northern coast of the country.

The carrier began flying to the Dominican Republic at the end of last week with flights to Punta Cana.

Delta also announced a cap on main cabin one-way fares out of the Dominican Republic at $199 through Sept. 25.
