Another property in the region is joining Marriott’s Autograph Collection: the French Leave Resort in Eleuthera.

The 270-acre Bahamian hotel is slated to join the Autograph Collection by the end of this year.

French Leave Resort

Open since December 2014, French Leave currently has four two-bedroom luxury villas clustered on the waterfront overlooking Cupid’s Cay. The company says that the expansion project represents the first construction of “true seafront” cottages on Governor’s Harbour since the late 1940s.

It plans to expand to 12 bungalows by the end of this year.

Marriott Rewards members can redeem points for stays at Autograph Collection hotels.

French Leave is the latest addition for the Autograph Collection, which has been rapidly expanding in the Caribbean, most recently with the Habitation Jouissant boutique hotel in Haiti.
