How to Book a Boat Slip in the Caribbean With Your Phone

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - July 25, 2016

A new app has made booking a boat slip or mooring significantly easier.

It’s called Dockwa, and it allows boaters to reserve marina boat slips and moorings with their mobile phones.

Right now, the app has launched at 16 marinas across the islands of the Bahamas, along with one marina in Puerto Rico.

Dockwa also has major expansion plans for the Caribbean slated for this year, the company told Caribbean Journal.

The app gives each marina a special page on its site, listing dockage fees, mooring prices and even day trip rates, along with check-in and check-out times and phone numbers.

Just list the length of your boat, arrival and departure, and reserve away.
