What’s New at Turks and Caicos’ Amanyara

Amanyara, the posh resort on Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands, is celebrating a decade of delivering dream vacations with a series of new guest experiences.

The offerings include immersive tennis packages and a raw food retreat, but we’re most interested in the 10-Day Caribbean Culinary Course, bookable through December 10.

Led by executive chef Jusman Cho, the course comprises private cooking lessons, during which fledging cooks will learn to prepare classic island dishes such as conch chowder, rice ‘n’ peas, jerk fish, plantain chips and conch salad.

Lessons take place in one of the resort’s sleek villas, and are followed by a sumptuous private lunch, during which guests enjoy the fruits (and vegetables!) of their labor.
