Grenada Prime Minister Visits Trinidad

Grenada Prime Minister Dr Keith Mitchell made a one-day visit to Trinidad and Tobago on Tuesday, his office announced.

Mitchell’s was invited in his capacity as lead head of government with responsibility for science and technology in CARICOM.

He delivered the feature address at an award ceremony for the Faculty of Science and Technology at the University of the West Indies, St Augustine Campus.

Mitchell was set to meet with new Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley, with air transport, oil and gas, debt relief and other issues on the agenda.

It was the pair’s first meeting since Rowley took office in early September.
