Peter Island Resort and Spa has appointed Scott Hart as its new General Manager.

Hart joins the private island resort in the British Virgin Islands with extensive experience in the hotel and restaurants industries, including his most recent posts as owner and founder of Dove Restaurant in Road Town, Tortola and General Manager of the Frenchmans Hotel on Tortola’s West End.

“We are delighted to welcome Scott to our Peter Island family and are excited to watch the resort benefit and thrive from his wealth of experience, talent and enthusiasm,” said George Aquino, Peter Island Resort & Spa’s Managing Director. “We knew Scott was a perfect fit for this role because his experience and success so strongly spoke for his leadership skills, intuitive instincts and creative talent – critical traits to help ensure the continued growth and success of our colleagues and Peter Island Resort & Spa.”

Hart will be responsible for overseeing the hotel’s 52 rooms and suites, three villas, two restaurants, and mega yacht harbor.

The resort is located on a 1,800-acre private island featuring five pristine beaches and a 10,000-square-foot-spa.
