Sunwing’s Cuba expansion continues to gain steam.
The Canadian vacation giant has added a series of new flights to Cuba, the company announced this week.
The company announced that it would be re-introducing direct flights from the city of Val d’Or in Quebec to both Varadero and Holguin, with new Monday and Tuesday flights beginning Dec. 21.
The company is also returning to Fredericton in New Brusnwick for a ninth season with flights to both Varadero and Holguin.
“Cuba is a high demand destination for us. It offers a year-round mild and sunny climate, gorgeous beaches and many vacation choices in its diverse tourism regions,” said Sam Char, Executive Director of the Sunwing Travel Group, Quebec. “Additionally, vacationers this winter departing on these flights will also be able to experience some of our newest resorts that have recently opened in Varadero and Holguin.”
Sunwing offers more than 130 flights a week from Canada to Cuba. It is the largest Canadian tour operator to the Caribbean country.
