Martinique’s Serge Letchimy Meeting With French President Hollande

Serge Letchimy, president of Martinique’s Regional Council, is set to meet with French President Francois Hollande Monday in Paris.

The meeting, which comes at Letchimy’s request, will be held at the Elysee Palace.

According to a statement from Letchimy’s office, the talks are slated to cover a number of issues, including a Caribbean Climate Summit in May; the economic situation of France’s overseas departments; French initiatives in the Caribbean and the University of the Antilles.

The talks are slated to cover 45 minutes, according to the statement.
