This is the Fastest-Growing Caribbean Destination for Europeans

No destination in the Caribbean saw more growth from the European source market than the Cayman Islands in 2014, according to data from the Caribbean Tourism Organization.

The British Overseas Territory received a total of 36,405 tourists from Europe last year, a 30.9 percent increase in European tourism compared to 2013.

That was the fastest growth of any Caribbean destination, with Grenada coming in second with 21.5 percent growth from Europe and Belize at third with a 20.8 percent improvement.

The most popular destination in the region in terms of raw arrival numbers was the Dominican Republic, which received 1.18 million tourists from Europe last year, a 4.9 percent improvement over the previous year.
