Global all-inclusive brand Club Med has hired Camille Olivere as its new senior vice president of sales for the United States “as part of a continued growth strategy for the brand,” the company announced.

Olivere had most recently served as senior vice president of sales at Norwegian Cruise Lines, where she had worked on a turnaround of travel agency sales and corporate meeting and incentive sales.

“We are excited about welcoming an executive of Olivere’s caliber and proven track record of engaging with key travel partners,” said Xavier Mufraggi, president and CEO of Club Med North America. “Her influence will be key to supporting our ambitious growth plans.”

Club Med has been on a new development track in the Western Hemisphere in recent years, including a planned expansion in San Salvador and a revamp of its Cancun property part of a wider push to grow its US customer base.

That’s led, according to Mufraggi, to a growth in North American-sourced business.

“The goal is to accelerate this growth,” Mufraggi said. “We know Olivere is the right person to lead our sales team in this exciting new phase of expansion.”
