You know how you walk into some hotel rooms and, as much as you try to be cool and pretend as if you live just like this at home, can’t help but gush?

The Cliff Penthouse at Virgin Gorda’s Oil Nut Bay is exactly that kind of suite: the type that wows with panoramic Caribbean views from the wraparound verandah; seduces with its private infinity pool; and impresses with designer décor courtesy of FENDI Casa.

The 1,300-square-foot sanctuary in the British Virgin Islands also features a master bedroom, great room and wet bar, plus a handsome ocean-view soaking tub and outdoor shower.

It’s the type of place we wish we could retreat to when deadlines loom, our editor has demanded a third revision, and we’re all out of coffee.

But since $2,500 a night is just a tad beyond our vacay budget, we’ll just have to drool over this tantalizing photo – and start saving our pennies.
