RUMBAR, the famous rum bar on the island of Key Biscayne off the coast of Miami, has a new look.

The bar, which Rum Journal named one of the world’s best rum bars for 2014, recently underwent a renovation project.

While the bar has retained much of its original charm, from the ceiling fans to the arched rum lockers, it has a new vibrance.

That’s come in the form of a brand-new floor, new furniture, an extended, horseshoe bar and the addition of far more seating space.

The rums have even gotten a boost, with the rum count rising to 102 rums on the menu, from Barbados to Martinique to Trinidad.

And it’s all still under the supervision of mixology experts Anthony Buddle and Alex Rodriguez.

Walk in and you’ll still feel immediately transported to Hemingway’s Havana.
