The Blue Residences condominium resort in Aruba is planning a March 2014 opening, the property announced this week.

The resort, located on Aruba’s Eagle Beach, will open March 1, with a combination of hotel rooms, one-bedroom apartment suites and three and five-bedroom units.

The property will feature three towers, each of which will have “unobstructed” views of the ocean, with elevated ceilings, private jacuzzi terraces and universal wireless internet.

“This is the first luxury resort to open on Eagle Beach in the past 20 years and we are excited about the prospect of promoting this to both loyal Aruba vacationers as well as those coming to the island for the first time,” said Herber Valkenberg, president of Icon Hotel Marketing, the North American representative for the resort.

The first of the three towers will debut in March, with a second tower set to open in May and the third tower projected to open in January 2015.

Upon completion, Blue Residences will consist of 124 units.
