A 4.1-magnitude earthquake caused light shaking in the US Virgin Islands and the British Virgin Islands on Monday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The quake occurred at about 7:33 AM local time at a depth of 40 kilometres.
Its epicentre was about 50 kilometres northeast of Road Town in the British Virgin Islands and about 79 kilometres northeast of Charlotte Amalie in the US Virgin Islands.
The most reports of shaking were on Tortola in the British Virgin Islands.
No damage or injuries were reported.
