This $49.5 Million Listing in the British Virgin Islands Home Comes With 1,000 Feet of White-Sand Beach
Valley Trunk Estate, an iconic family compound on a secluded white-sand bay, hits the market in the British Virgin Islands.
One of the most significant real estate offerings in the British Virgin Islands—and the broader Caribbean—has just come to market.
Premier Estate Properties and Christie’s International Real Estate British Virgin Islands have announced the co-listing of Valley Trunk Estate, a landmark private compound set on Virgin Gorda’s Valley Trunk Bay. The 18-acre beachfront estate is now on the market for $49.5 million.
The estate spans the entirety of Valley Trunk Bay, offering more than 1,000 feet of secluded white-sand beachfront and uninterrupted views of the Sir Francis Drake Channel.
Built as a private family retreat more than four decades ago, the estate includes 10 suites across five standalone villas, all nestled within manicured gardens and dramatic granite boulders. The compound underwent a full-scale renovation in 2024.

“The entire bay of over 1,000 feet of pristine white sand and turquoise water frontage, and 10 elegantly appointed suites distributed among five free-standing villas—this oasis establishes a new benchmark of refined resort-style living in a family home setting,” said Rick Moeser of Premier Estate Properties, who is representing the listing.
Each of the villas has been redesigned with a contemporary coastal aesthetic, using natural materials and custom furnishings sourced from Italy, Germany, Kenya, and beyond. Bedrooms feature en-suite baths with travertine flooring and bespoke vanities, and the property is equipped with integrated air conditioning, high-speed fiber internet, and seamless indoor-outdoor living elements.
At the heart of the estate lies the main house, which includes a fully outfitted bar, cinema, pool table, and lounge opening onto a redesigned infinity pool with sunset-facing views.

The estate’s infrastructure supports both private residential use and commercial operation. Valley Trunk began accepting exclusive luxury rentals in 2012 and remains fully equipped for tourism or private residence purposes, the brokerage told Caribbean Journal.
Edward Childs, director at CIRE British Virgin Islands, called the estate “an opportunity for a discerning investor to acquire one of the best private estates in the region,” citing the combination of location, privacy, and recent upgrades.
The offering includes a full suite of outdoor amenities, from nature trails through the estate’s lush gardens to private beachfront access and proximity to Virgin Gorda’s harbor and dining scene.
Valley Trunk’s listing comes as demand for ultra-luxury, beachfront Caribbean estates continues to grow among global buyers seeking privacy, security, and long-term investment potential.
