Haiti’s Isaac Death Toll Reaches 24

The number of deaths due to Tropical Storm Isaac in Haiti has reached 24, according to updated data released Tuesday by the country’s Civil Protection office.

That comes along with another three missing and 42 injured.

A total of 8,189 families have been affected, according to the data.

The storm made landfall in Haiti on Friday, causing damage across the country and continued flooding.

A previous report had indicated a total of 19 dead from the storm.
