Increased Ties for Barbados, Panama

Barbados and Panama are looking to improve their relations, with an aim of increased airlift and greater business cooperation. Barbados Foreign Minister Maxine McClean met with Arlina Gonzales Costa, the Panamanian ambassador to Barbados, yesterday in a courtesy call. “We have had some very strong historic ties in Panama and for us, it offers a number of opportunities to build trading opportunities,” McClean said. The two countries established diplomatic ties in 1975.
