A New Adults-Only All-Inclusive Resort Is Coming to Antigua

The highly-anticipated new Hammock Cove Resort and Spa is set to debut Dec. 1 on the island of Antigua, Caribbean Journal has learned.

Elite Island Resorts‘ newest luxury resort will have 42 standalone villas, all of which will have large outdoor spaces and boast their own private infinity plunge pools.

The boutique resort will include two restaurants, three bars, a main pool and beach area and a spa, along with amenities like personalized butler service and 24-hour room service.

Every unit will have vaulted ceilings, oversized bathrooms with dual sinks and four showerheads, a fully-stocked cocktail bar with a wine cellar and a private outdoor space that is the “centerpiece of the villa,” according to the property.

The resort will be set on a breathtaking nature park near Antigua’s famous Devil’s Bridge.

Hammock Cove has tapped Marco Festini Cromer as its culinary director and executive chef, a role in which the Italian-born Festini, a veteran of a number of Michelin-starred eateries, will oversee every aspect of the food and beverage offerings.

That will include Irina’s, a Caribbean fusion eatery called Lighthouse and the Chairman’s Reserve Bar.

Hammock Cove will additionally feature a pool bar called On the Rocks.

The resort will be the newest addition to Elite Island Resorts’ portfolio in the Caribbean, which includes four other resorts in Antigua alone.
