A New Adults-Only Dominican Republic Resort

The tony enclave of Cap Cana in the Dominican Republic is getting a new luxury adults-only resort.

The new all-inclusive TRS Cap Cana is the brainchild of fast-expanding Palladium Hotel Group, which will debut the new hotel on Nov. 1.

The waterfront hotel is currently undergoing renovations prior to opening “in order to cultivate the design of the TRS” brand, Palladium said in a statement.

The property is a transformation of what was the former Tiara Cap Cana resort.

The adults-only resort will feature 115 suites, along with 39 swim-up junior suites, nine ocean-view suites and one “ambassador” suites.

Amenities will include two pools with waiter service, a gym, a spa called Zentropia Palladium Spa and Wellness, along with personal butlers and 24-hour room service.

Culinary concepts will include two a la carte restaurants: the Argentine-style Gaucho, along with an informal Japanese eatery.

TRS Cap Cana will also include the brand’s signature Helios Beach Club, an Ibiza-style beach lounge scene.

That’s along with two “show-cooking” eateries, a coffee shop and four bars including a pool bar called Gaia.

The property will feature 39 “swim-up” junior suites.

It’s the newest outpost for Palladium, which is also opening two other all-inclusive properties in the Caribbean this year: the TRS Coral and the Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres, both of which are set on the Caribbean coast of Mexico.

Cap Cana is home to a number of luxury properties, from the Secrets Cap Cana all-inclusive to the world-class Eden Roc at Cap Cana, a Relais & Chateaux hotel.

It’s also the site of one of the region’s leading golf courses, the the Jack Nicklaus-designed Punta Espada Golf Club.
