Sun Country Airlines has launched new service from Minnesota to the Caribbean.
The carrier has begun operating thrice-weekly nonstop flights between Minneapolis/St Paul and Aruba.
The new service will operate weekly on Saturdays through April 7, according to the company.
“For Midwest travelers, direct travel to Aruba offers an easy escape to a beautiful island in the Caribbean Sea, just off the coast of South America,” the carrier said in a statement.
“This new route will give visitors from Minneapolis/ St. Paul and the surrounding areas a new and more convenient way to visit our beautiful island. We appreciate Sun Country’s confidence in the destination and look forward to a great partnership in the years ahead,” said James Fazio, Chief Executive Officer of the Aruba Airport Authority.
