Why Eric Ripert Is Coming to Grand Cayman

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - November 15, 2016

World-renowned Chef Eric Ripert is coming to Grand Cayman next month.

Ripert is coming to the island to celebrate his new memoir, 32 Yolks, and will be personally hosting three eight-course dinners and book-signings on Dec. 6, 7 and 8.

The dinners will take place at his eponymous Blue restaurant at the Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman (the resort recommends early reservations).

The three dining events, which will be led by Ripert, Chef de Cuisine Thomas Seifried and his team, will include champagne and oysters upon arrival, eight courses and a copy of 32 Yolks which Ripert will sign in person. Optional wine pairings will be available.

32 Yolks is a “deeply personal” account of his early life and culinary career.

Grand Cayman is a frequent stomping ground for Ripert, who also headlines the island’s annual Cayman Cookout with fellow chefs Anthony Bourdain and Jose Andres each January.
