Air Canada’s Newest Nonstop Caribbean Flights

Air Canada is expanding in the Caribbean.

The company has announced that its Air Canada Rouge carrier will be launching new flights between Montreal and San Jose, Costa Rica and between Toronto and Port of Spain, Trinidad.

The new flights will launch in the winter of 2016.

“Air Canada is solidifying its position in the Canadian leisure market by offering more flights to more sun destinations during the 2016-2017 winter season,” said Benjamin Smith, President, Passenger Airlines at Air Canada. Flights are timed to optimize connectivity for travelers from all across Quebec and Eastern Canada looking to escape the Canadian winter.”

The company concomitantly announced new service between Montreal and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

“All Air Canada rouge flights provide for Aeroplan accumulation and redemption and, for eligible customers, priority check-in, Maple Leaf Lounge access, priority boarding and other benefits,” Smith said.

The new Trinidad and Tobago flights will begin Dec. 21, operating twice weekly on Wednesdays and Fridays.

The flights will depart Toronto at 9:00 AM on Wednesdays, and arriving in Port of Span at 3:25 PM.

Air Canada Rouge ill be operating the service on a 282-seat Boeing 767-300ER aircraft with premium and economy cabins.
