The Bahamas and China signed an economic-technical cooperation agreement at Paradise Island’s Atlantis resort the same day, also engaging in talks on the provisions of the agreement.
China Vice Premier Wang Qishan was representing the country in the signing.
Qishan will be attending the China-Caribbean forum in Trinidad this week.
