Sports Illustrated’s annual swimsuit issue is currently on the newsstands, and eagle-eyed Caribbean fans will no doubt spot a familiar backdrop for the mesmerizing models.

That’s because St Vincent and the Grenadines private island-resort Petit St Vincent was one of just seven places chosen for the magazine’s best-selling franchise, which is famous for showing off sexy models in even sexier locations.

“We chose PSV as our body paint destination because of its private location and absolutely stunning beaches,” said Darcie Baum, senior editor at Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. “The island was a perfect backdrop for our three beautiful athletes in paint,” Baum continued, referring to mixed martial artist Ronda Rousey, skier Lindsey Vonn and tennis player Caroline Wozniacki, who wear nothing but body paint in the jaw-dropping images.

Petit St. Vincent is a 115-acre island with 22 cottages that overlook two miles of white-sand beach.

The Sports Illustrated shoot took place over four days in November 2015 and January 2016 on the resort’s West End and Atlantic beaches, and on the neighboring sandbar of Mopion.
