Passengers have begun fully using the services of the newly-opened Lignum Club at Lynden Pindling International Airport.

Opened officially in October 2015, the Lignum Club offers passengers access to leading facilities, and showcases Bahamian culture in design and decor.

The club offers food and beverage options, a business center, computer workstations, a full-service bar, cable television, and private meeting space and concierge services.

Last week staff members of the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism got a firsthand view of the modern facility and received feedback from passengers awaiting their flight.

Daniel Salcedo, a visitor from Miami who traveled to Nassau for a weeklong business meeting, spoke to the service he experienced in the lounge.

“I took advantage of all the services. Meals, newspapers, Internet and the quiet environment,” he said.

Salcedo also noted that through the business area he was able to access his emails and other services to keep in touch with his office.

The club is open to all passengers traveling through the airport’s Terminal A, including domestic passengers.

It is operated by the Nassau Airport Development Company, and is a member of the Priority Club network along with 700 other premium airport lounges.

It is a member of the Priority Pass program.
