Colombia-based carrier Avianca is expanding its service between Bogota and Barcelona, the carrier announced this week.
Responding to what Avianca called “high demand” for both business and leisure travelers between the two cities, the company said it would be adding a daily flight between the two cities.
The service will mean the availability of around 3,528 seats each week between the two cities. Avianca is currently operating four flights each week between the cities.
It will launch Dec. 18, the company said.
Avianca will operate the flight on an Airbus A330.
The move will also help connect travelers from Barcelona and surrounding areas and Spain with the wider Caribbean, given Avianca’s numerous flights across the region.
