The Paradise Island Harbour Resort in the Bahamas is planning a “complete renovation,” the property announced.

The 246-room, all-inclusive resort will close in early July for renovations. It was purchased at the end of 2012 by Warwick Interantional.

The resort also announced that it was naming Ilyse Prokocimer-Karwoski its new director of sales and marketing.

Prokocimer-Karwoski, a 35-year veteran of the industry, was most recently the director of sales and marketing for the Magdalena Grand Beach Resort in Tobago.

She has also served as Director of Sales for Driftwood Hospitality Management and Vice President-Caribbean of Gate 1 Travel, a US Tour Operator.

She had previously held the position of President and CEO/COO for Prokocimer Int’l Enterprises, d/b/a Nassau/Paradise Island Express, a tour operator focusing on the Bahamas.

“There are many exciting changes coming to Paradise Island Harbour Resort,” said Cameron Burnet, managing director of the Paradise Island Harbour Resort.
