Sonesta Great Bay Reopens in St Maarten Following Renovations

The Sonesta Great Bay Beach Resort has reopened in St Maarten following a series of “sweeping” renovations.

The all-inclusive property, which also includes a casino and spa, has a total of 257 rooms, three swimming pools, four bars and a casino. It has rebranded itself as an “adults-only” resort.

“We’ve introduced a new way to stay at Great Bay – an exclusive, adults-only, limitless all-inclusive,” said Armando Pizzuti, vice president of hotel operations for the Maho Group, in a release. “From the Champagne check-in to our new butler service, we are here to continuously exceed our guest’s expectations.”

Each room now has Wi-Fi, a flat screen television and a clock radio with an iPod dock, among other amenities.

The property also said it would be offering personalized butler service for guests staying in one its Miramar Wing suites.
