The new Democractic National Alliance (DNA) party in the Bahamas, led by Bamboo Town MP Branville McCartney, will launch its list of candidates by the end of May. The party’s candidacy committee is being chaired by a well-known clergyman, and includes a total of 15 members. “The central theme of the committee is to determine whether candidates have the best interests of the Bahamas and the Bahamian people at heart,” said one party insider who said he was not permitted to speak on the record.
