Nigeria President Dr Goodluck Jonathan is continuing his Caribbean tour with a two-day official visit to Jamaica that began Thursday.

Jonathan’s Jamaican trip followed a visit to Trinidad and Tobago highlighted by bilateral talks with Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar.

Jonathan’s arrival in the country was marked by a trip to the Marcus Garvey Museum in downtown Kingston. Jonathan also addressed a joint sitting of Parliament.

Jonathan and his party were met by a Jamaican delegation led by Youth and Culture Minister Lisa Hanna.

The Nigerian leader noted the images of Africa in the Garvey Museum, saying he would like to see more displays of contemporary Nigeria, an idea Hanna said her ministry would seek to pursue.
