So what about the flight schedules?

Flights from Orlando to Grand Cayman, Nassau, Cancun, Turks and Caicos and Punta Cana flights are all operating every day, meaning a big daily nonstop boost to the broader Caribbean.

Southwest Airlines is already operating a pair of nonstop flights between Orlando and the Caribbean, with service to Montego Bay, Jamaica’s biggest travel hotspot, and the Dutch Caribbean island of Aruba.

It’s not yet clear if these routes will be operating year-round. Southwest says they will at least run through August 2024.

For example, an Orlando-Grand Cayman roundtrip on one of the new routes starts as low as $454 round trip.

A roundtrip from Orlando to Providenciales, Turks and Caicos is as low as $463.30, according to Southwest’s site.
