Marriott’s New Montego Bay All-Inclusive Readies for Debut

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - October 26, 2023

The highly-anticipated new Hideaway at Royalton Blue Waters resort is readying for a late November debut in Montego Bay, Jamaica, Caribbean Journal has confirmed.

The adults-only, all-inclusive resort will be opening in the heart of greater Montego Bay with a total of 352 rooms.

The resort, which launched bookings back in May, will be part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection, thanks to its alliance with Blue Diamond Resorts.

Royalton says the property will be the largest provider of Diamond Club suites among all of its Hideaway at Royalton properties.

Those suites will also come with personalized butler service.

The new hotel is the latest in what has been a rapidly-expanding portfolio of all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean for Marriott, which began its foray into all-inclusive with its acquisition of Barbados’ Elegant Hotels back in 2019.

It will be the fifth Royalton-branded resort in Jamaica.

Hideaway at Royalton Blue Waters will also be the third Marriott all-inclusive to debut in the last year, including the Sanctuary Cap Cana resort and, more recently, the Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun family-friendly property.

Marriott entered into an alliance with Royalton’s parent company, Blue Diamond resorts, back in 2021.
