Marriott’s alliance with Royalton Resorts and its acquisition of Elegant Hotels group in Barbados has greatly expanded the number of Caribbean resorts where its Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program members can use their rewards points to book all-inclusive vacation stays. In many cases, an all-inclusive stay will cost you a bucketload of points, but with dynamic pricing, the cost of points stays can range higher or lower depending on season and demand.
Here are the Marriott all-inclusive properties in the Caribbean that you can pay for with Bonvoy points instead of cash.
Sanctuary Cap Cana, Dominican Republic
Marriott’s Luxury Collection is a short list of some of the world’s finest resorts, including the renowned Sanctuary Cap Cana. Set in an exclusive beach enclave, the 324-suite all-inclusive resort puts a premium on romance with its castle-like grounds and also offers access to the Punta Espada Golf Club, one of the best courses in the Caribbean. Expect to spend at least 120,000 Bonvoy points to stay a night here. This is Marriott’s premier all-inclusive option in all of the Caribbean.
The House by Elegant Hotels, Barbados
A new spa adds an additional level of pampering to stays at this adults-only all-inclusive resort on Barbados’ famous Platinum Coast. Champagne breakfasts and afternoon tea make dining an experience to remember here. It’s one of our favorite boutique all-inclusives in the Caribbean.
Like the other 12 Royalton resorts, the Royalton Antigua is part of the Marriott Autograph Collection and can be booked with Bonvoy points. Six overwater bungalows highlight the accommodations at this family friendly resort, which has 293 suites, 8 restaurants, and kids and teen clubs.
Royalton Chic Resort Cancun, Mexico
Part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection, the chic Royalton Cancun is an all-inclusive beach resort with 458 rooms, a rooftop lounge, nine restaurants and four pools. Expect to use at least 70,000 Bonvoy points nightly to stay at a Royalton resort in the Caribbean.
Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun, Mexico
Guests of all ages are welcomed at this 840-suite all-inclusive resort, which has a casino, spa, 10 restaurants, 11 bars, and a water park just minutes from the Cancun airport. The Hideaway at Royalton Riviera Cancun is an adults-only sanctuary.
Treasure Beach by Elegant Hotels, Barbados
Adult guests will get a true boutique hotel experience at this 35-suite beachfront property, which has contemporary styled rooms and special beach and room ambassadors providing attentive service.
Planet Hollywood Cancun, Mexico
