Hilton has opened its newest Caribbean resort: the all-suite, Embassy Suites by Hilton Aruba Resort, Caribbean Journal has confirmed. 

The newest resort in the Eagle Beach area of the island has a total of 330 suites, the first hotel to open in Aruba since the debut of the Radisson Blu back in 2021.

The debut of the popular brand is the first of its kind anywhere in the Dutch Caribbean. 

It joins existing Embassy Suites by Hilton resorts in the Caribbean in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. 

The room mix is a range of “nature” and ocean views, with king and two-queen-bed layouts; some rooms come with patios or balconies; the highest room category is the Oceanview King Suite with a large balcony. The hotel also has accessible suites.

And yes, all of the rooms are suites: separate living and dining rooms, mini fridges, dining tables; microwaves, sofa beds, two large HDTVs and nearly 1,000 square feet of living space. 

That’s a nod to travelers’ growing post-pandemic demand for one particular major amenity: space. 

In other words, this hotel has the largest standard rooms in Aruba. 

The new Embassy Suites is Hilton’s second resort in Aruba, joining the Palm Beach-area Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort, set in the legendary Morris Lapidus-designed beach tower. 

Amenities at the new Aruba resort include two pools, an on-site concierge, free made-to-order breakfast daily, digital keys and a fitness center. 

That’s along with five dining concepts: a grab-and-go market; a lobby cafe; a lobby restaurant; a pool bar and a poolside snack-and-grill eatery. 

The new-build resort is set on the northern end of Eagle Beach, about 15 minutes from Aruba’s Queen Beatrix International Airport, meaning easy access to many of the island’s top restaurants, particularly those in the Eagle Beach and Palm Beach areas.
