Viva Wyndham Reopens Playa del Carmen All-Inclusive

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - October 30, 2021

Viva Wyndham Resorts has reopened its all-inclusive resort in Playa del Carmen on the Caribbean coast of Mexico.

The company is now welcoming back guests to the Viva Wyndham Azteca resort, set in one of the most popular beach towns in the Yucatan.

The 335-room hotel has relaunched after undergoing an upgrade project that included all of the property’s superior rooms.

The new look includes “heritage-rich, Mexican-inspired décor and state-of-the art technology,” according to a statement from Viva Wyndham.

The lobby and public areas have also gotten a makeover, while the resort’s snack bar, El Nopal buffet and Il Palco eatery have also been completely redone.

The resort’s all-inclusive experience features everything from a lineup of live shows and performances to Mexican cooking classes, dance lessons and theme parties.

The Azteca has also added a new kid’s pool, among other changes.

“Viva Wyndham is constantly improving its offerings for our guests because we know that they deserve the vacation of a lifetime at cost conscious rates,” said Amanda Santana, Viva Wyndham’s Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “It’s always our goal to exceed their expectations and provide a one-of-a-kind experience that guests will remember for years to come.”
