The Cancun International Boat Show has been postponed to December, organizers announced this week.

The show had initially been scheduled for July.

The show will now be held from Dec. 3-5, Caribbean Journal has learned.

“We have made the difficult decision to postpone the Cancun International Boat Show,” organizers said in a statement. “The health and safety of our guests, exhibitors, employees and their families is of the utmost importance. Following a thorough analysis regarding the health and economic feasibility of the show, this is the most prudent course of action.”

The event, Cancun’s first-ever boat show, will be set at the increasingly popular marina at Puerto Cancun, home to the new SLS Cancun hotel.
