Caribbean Airlines is expanding with new service between Barbados and Guyana’s Ogle International Airport.

On Oct. 31, the regional carrier will be introducing three weekly nonstop flights between Barbados and Guyana, with service on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Caribbean Airlines is operating the route on its ATR-72 aircraft.

“Fulfilling the needs of our customers motivates all that we do, and the launch of service between Ogle and Barbados is in direct response to stakeholder feedback,” said Garvin Medera, CEO of Caribbean Airlines. “We value the loyalty and support of our customer and it is heartening that in the midst of the pandemic we are able to introduce these new flights between Ogle and Barbados.”

The flights will complement Caribbean Airlines’ existing operations at Guyana’s other major airport, Cheddi Jagan International.
