American Airlines is resuming two routes to St Maarten’s Princess Juliana International Airport.

This weekend, the carrier will relaunch its flights to St Maarten from both Philadelphia International Airport and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.

Both routes relaunch Dec. 22.

American has already been operating its Miami-St Maarten service.

Both routes had been suspended since Hurricane Irma hit the island in the fall of 2017.

American is also resuming flights from Philadelphia to St Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands this weekend.
