Cancun Airport Traffic Strengthening

After a slow period over the summer, Cancun International Airport is beginning to surge once again.

The carrier reported 1.991 million passengers in November, a 7.6 percent increase over the same month in 2017.

Cancun.

That was buoyed by 5.8 percent growth in international traffic, according to ASUR, which manages Cancun airport and a number of other airpots across Mexico, Colombia and Puerto Rico.

For the year, Cancun’s airport traffic is now up by 6.9 percent, with a total of just under 22.93 million passengers served so far in 2018.

That includes 4.3 percent growth in international traffic, according to the company.
