A wave of celebrities descended upon Puerto Rico this weekend to mark the grand reopening of Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve.

The ultra-luxe resort reopened last month after having shuttered in the wake of Hurricane Maria.

“We are celebrating the resilience of the people of Puerto Rico, and the best way to help them now is for everyone to come visit again,” said Andrés, who has long had an eatery at the property. “The tourism industry is coming back stronger than before, and Dorado Beach is an amazing part of the island.”

Guests included performances by Odom, one of the original stars of Hamilton, along with the Puerto Rico Philharmonic and music star Questlove, among others.

“This was a great chance for me to do something that I love and help people in the process,” Odom Jr said. “I’ve had the opportunity to travel all over the world and this is easily one of the top five places I’ve been.”

Other boldfaced names on hand included Uma Thurman, Neil Patrick Harris, Martha Stewart and Al Roker.

“The sound of Puerto Rico is universal, it’s the sound of right now.” Questlove said. “I felt compelled to join the recovery efforts for the island because it’s the humane thing to do. To me, it’s more personal than just being an ambassador to represent the island, this is one of the places that was the most special to me as a child.”
