Things are looking strong for St Kitts’ Port Zante so far this season, according to tourism officials.

Four inaugural ship calls will be made to Basseterre’s cruise port later this month and in early December, following the inaugural calls of Oceania Cruises’ Sirena, which made its first call to Port Zante on Oct. 11 and Viking Ocean Cruises’ Viking Sea, which made its first call Oct. 25.

Next week, the MV Zenith will make its inaugural call to St Kitts on Oct. 30, while Viking’s Viking Sky will call on the destination Nov. 3.

The first half of the 2017-2018 cruise season is projected to set a new record for cruise passenger arrivals to Port Zante, according to the St Kitts Tourism Authority.

Indeed, there will be no day in December without a cruise ship, officials said.
