Frontier Airlines Is Launching Its First-Ever Flights to Turks and Caicos

The white sands of Grace Bay. The satin sheen of Long Bay. The buzzing tables all across Provo. It’s no secret that Turks and Caicos is hot right now — a trend that largely started in the post-pandemic period and hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down.
And for trending Caribbean destinations, there’s only one way to keep growing: new airlift.
A New Island for Frontier
Beginning in December, Turks and Caicos will get a major new route from fast-expanding carrier Frontier Airlines, with a nonstop flight between Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and Providenciales.
The new service kicks off on Dec. 20, the first-ever service on Frontier Airlines to Turks and Caicos.
Atlanta has become an increasingly important source market for Turks and Caicos; another carrier, Delta Air Lines, has already revealed plans to double its daily flights from Atlanta to Provo beginning this winter (and lasting through mid-April). https://www.caribjournal.com/2025/04/25/turks-and-caicos-delta-nonstop-daily/
Winter Looking Good for the Caribbean
It’s a sign of continued strength for the region, and an important message of confidence from another airline. Clearly, demand is staying strong for the region, with just about every major carrier adding more seats to the Caribbean this winter.
Are you planning a trip to Turks and Caicos? The destination’s hotel scene has never been better, from the marvelous Palms resort (where I recently stayed and was thoroughly impressed) to the boutique Kokomo Botanical Resort, an outstanding wellness-focused option.
