LIAT Cutting Guadeloupe-Dominica Flights

By: - February 10th, 2017

Regional Caribbean carrier LIAT has canceled its thrice-weekly service between Guadeloupe’s Pointe-a-Pitre Le Raizet Airport and Dominica’s Douglas Charles Airport.

The move, which will take effect March 1, is the result of what LIAT called the need to “stabilize the airline’s flight schedule and network.”

Dominica still has 35 weekly flights from LIAT conecting to and from its hubs in Antigua and Barbados, the company said.

Service to Dominica will now come directly from Antigua, rather than going through Guadeloupe.
