Thinking of heading on a Princess cruise to the Caribbean next year?

The company has announced its new 2017-2018 Americas cruise calendar, including sailings to the Caribbean, the Panama Canal and Mexico.

The portfolio of itineraries ranges from three to 28 days, and is now bookable.

This will be the maiden season of the Caribbean Princess ship on 10-day cruises through the new Panama Canal locks.

“Our 2017-2018 Americas season offers exciting itineraries for our guests to choose the perfect cruise vacation from homeports in the United States and Canada,” said Jan Swartz, Princess Cruises president. “Recognized for our award-winning itineraries, we’re always evolving our cruise options so our guests can immerse themselves in the local cultures and enjoy new experiences while in port.”

Caribbean cruises will see five ships sailing five-day getaways, seven- and eight-day vacations and voyages from 10 to 21 days long in 2017 and 2018.

The company’s Caribbean Princess ship will also launch a new 14-day Circle Caribbean itinerary out of Fort Lauderdale that will include stops in Martinique, Barbados, Trinidad, Aruba, Curacao, Antigua, St. Maarten, St. Kitts and a stop at the line’s private beach resort, Princess Cays.

In addition, Princess said it would be returning with its seven-day Caribbean cruises with visits to both the Eastern and Western Caribbean regions on Regal Princess, while Crown Princess will alternate eight-day Eastern and Southern Caribbean itineraries and five-day getaways to the Eastern and Western Caribbean.

For a longer stay, the Pacific Princess ship sails what is called a 14-day “Caribbean Connoisseur” voyage, stopping at less-frequented cruise stops including St Croix, Nevis, Guadeloupe, Tobago and Virgin Gorda.
