Copa Airlines has signed a letter of intent agreeing to lease three new planes, the Panama-based carrier announced this week.

The company will lease three new Boeing 737-800 aircraft, it said in a second-quarter release.

The carrier will take delivery of the planes in August, October and November of 2015, it said.

The carrier also took delivery of two new Boeing 737-800 in the second quarter, ending last quarter with a total fleet of 93 aircraft.

By the end of 2014, Copa will serve 69 destinations in 30 countries in the hemisphere, including the Caribbean.
