Six Great Aruba Beaches You Need to See

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - July 24, 2013

We like Aruba for a lot of reasons, but one of them is the number of beautiful beaches on the Dutch Caribbean island. The island offers a wide variety of them; some are sandy hubs popular with tourists, while others are more remote. Here’s a list of six great beaches in Aruba. What’s your favourite beach in Aruba? Let us know in the comments section.

For us, these are some of the best Aruba beaches.

Aruba’s Eagle Beach

Eagle Beach The crown jewel of Aruba beaches, this remarkably wide stretch of sand is a marvelous place to spend a day (or a week). It simply doesn’t get any better than this in the whole region.

Druif Beach Located near Eagle Beach (one of our top 10 walking beaches in the Caribbean), Druif is one of the more relaxed beaches on the island.

Palm Beach The two-mile-long Palm Beach is Aruba’s main tourism boulevard, with a host of high-rise properties like the Riu and the Hyatt and a number of vacation rentals. This is where it all happens, the hub of activity in Aruba.

Malmok Beach Malmok, located near the Tierra del Sol golf course and a residential area, is great for snorkeling and its rocky, craggy character makes for a striking beach landscape. As you can see, it’s also a great spot to watch sunsets (and, if you’re lucky, see the green flash).

Baby Beach Baby Beach is centered around a lagoon, another terrific spot for snorkeling on the island. This is a hideaway beach, one of the remote spots on the island and a place to get away from it all (and also home to a great beach bar.)

Rodgers Beach Set close to Baby Beach, the white-sand Roger’s Beach is another perfect spot for true Caribbean seclusion, as it remains one of a relative secret among Aruba beaches.
