The Radisson Blu Aruba Resort Has a New General Manager

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - February 26, 2024

The Radisson Blu Aruba has a new general manager — and it’s a familiar face.

The property has announced the return of Luigi Wix as its general manager; Six served as the pre-opening and opening general manager for the resort, which first opened in April 2021.

Now, Wix is back, as part of what the hotel is calling a “new chapter of growth and innovation for our young and dynamic property.”

“The entire Blu Aruba family is thrilled to embark on this exciting journey with Luigi back at the helm,” said Shareska Gutierrez, director of commercial strategy. “His modern leadership seamlessly aligns with the hotel’s vision, and we look forward to crafting memorable experiences and ensuring that Radisson Blu Aruba remains a beacon of sophistication and style in the Aruban hospitality landscape.”

The 14-story, 156-room Radisson Blu is set near the end of the Palm Beach hotel strip. It’s the only Radisson Blu in the Caribbean.
