Royalton Has a New Resort Collection — Starting With This Riviera Maya All-Inclusive
The recently-rebranded Royalton Hotels and Resorts is making a bold move in the luxury all-inclusive space. The company has unveiled the new Royalton Reserve Collection, a curated portfolio of independent, luxe resorts defined by what the company calls distinctive character, exceptional service, and elevated gastronomy.
The first member? Paraíso de la Bonita, which opened its doors in Marriott’s Autograph Collection at the beginning of this year. You may know it from its earlier life as the onetime Zoëtry Paraiso de la Bonita, a property we’ve loved for years.
Now, the legendary Paraiso de la Bonita in Mexico’s Riviera Maya will serve as the inaugural property, marking the official global debut of the collection.
The move comes after Royalton announced plans to take over management over two other Autograph Collection properties.
A New Standard in Luxury All-Inclusive
The Royalton Reserve Collection is envisioned as both a brand portfolio and a mark of distinction. Each property within the collection will be carefully selected for its individuality and deep sense of place, blending authenticity with world-class hospitality.
Rather than adhering to a single formula, Royalton says it is aiming to bring together resorts that reflect their own identity while meeting uncompromising standards of design and service.
“Paraíso de la Bonita is the jewel inaugurating the Royalton Reserve Collection,” said Jordi Pelfort, President of Royalton Hotels & Resorts. “This iconic resort not only honors its storied legacy as part of The Luxury Collection but also paves the way for a new era in which Royalton Reserve Collection properties will deliver one-of-a-kind experiences, each with its own soul, its own story, and its own vision of luxury.”
Elevated Suites and New Experiences
Starting Dec. 15, Paraíso de la Bonita will introduce Royalton’s Diamond Club suite category, featuring elevated amenities like private butler service and exclusive access to reserved areas across the resort. Select existing suites will be converted into Diamond Club accommodations, while a brand-new Chairman Building will open exclusively for Diamond Club guests.
This new building will feature a private beachfront, a dedicated Diamond Club pool and bars, a breakfast restaurant, a bar and music lounge, and a Cooking Studio for hands-on culinary experiences.
Ten new oceanfront suites will also debut here, bringing the total number of accommodations to 100.
Wellness Reimagined
Also launching Dec. 15 is The Royal Spa, Royalton’s signature wellness concept, fully reimagined for the collection. The spa will feature hydrotherapy circuits, chromotherapy, a salt room, beauty salon, bridal suite, and custom treatments, alongside a new fitness center with cutting-edge equipment. The goal: to turn wellness into a defining element of the luxury experience.
Looking Ahead
While Paraíso de la Bonita marks the beginning, Royalton says it plans to expand the Reserve Collection to additional properties, signaling a clear focus on growth in the upscale segment. The Riviera Maya resort itself has been designed to welcome not only leisure travelers but also exclusive retreats and high-end groups, reinforcing its reputation as one of the Caribbean and Mexico’s most versatile luxury destinations.
“Royalton Reserve Collection is a hospitality philosophy,” Pelfort said in a statement provided to Caribbean Journal. “Our vision is to champion individuality, foster creativity, and uphold the highest benchmarks of service. With Paraíso de la Bonita as the inaugural member, we are setting the stage for an unprecedented journey in luxury hospitality.”
Right now the resort costs about $692 per night, according to Google Hotels.
